All the drums have been sampled using a Technics 1200, and run through an Aurora Audio GTQ2 preamp. The Neve style EQ has been using to bring out the best in each sound, but apart from that, very little processing has been done. They’ve been sampled at 16 and 24 bit, with the perfect amount of headroom used to capture the sound at its best, and the perfect amount left in the recording for futher processing. Many of the sounds have been recorded firstly into our MPC4000, and our Roland MV-8800, and then through the GTQ pre-amp to add further character to the recordings.
